Persian Knight ran a Cracker!!
I was very pleased with the weekend, I had two winners on Saturday in the first two races which was nice. I won on a horse called Satono Flag, he’s by Deep Impact and he set a record time on only his second start which was his first win, so that was really good. It was a great thrill for my bosses!
I was third in the Group 1 on Sunday, Persian Knight ran a cracker so he has now finished first, second, and third in the race in the past three years, really pleased with him.
I sat on Suave Richard this morning, I will ride him in the Japan Cup on Sunday which is really exciting. The Group 1 Japan Cup is a massive race here, The Arima Kinen Japan Cup and the Derby in the UK have all equal significance so to go into the race on one of the favourites is massive and the horse is in great order.
Everything else is good and very busy between travelling between Ritto and Miho. Ritto is West and Miho is East so basically Tokyo and Kyoto. They’re the two training centres and both have fantastic facilities so I have been very busy travelling between them to ride work and but loving it and hopefully this weekend goes well.
