Japan Cup Winner!

A huge weekend for me!! I had two winners yesterday and one of them is a half sister to two Group 1 winners including a Japan Cup winner which is significant for her breeding value so her owners were delighted.

I was having a bad day today at Tokyo until the last race, the Japan Cup and everything went right on Sauve Richard! He relaxed and travelled beautifully. I was pretty hopeful before the race and my agent was happy and saw his work so everyone was really pleased so we thought he had a big chance but everything worked out great.

I can’t express how pleased I am to win such a prestigious race and I hope I can keep riding more Japanese horses when they come abroad. The people here are amazing and their love for the sport huge. Over and out for now and so the journey continues....
