White Moonlight is 2/2!!
I enjoyed a really good Saturday, Under The Stars won the big sales race at Newmarket for James Tate and although the winning margin was only a head she won snuggly and she is an improving filly. White Moonlight (pic) is two from two now as she bolted up by three lengths under a penalty for Saeed and she looks to have an exciting future.
The week started off well with Band Practice winning a Listed race at Chantilly over five furlongs for Archie Watson. Her aim is the Breeders Cup now so I will be riding her out there which is exciting. I also won on Dubai Love at Nottingham, she is a really big filly with a huge future as she won first time out so there should be a lot more to come.
I was at Longchamp yesterday, Invincible Army ran very well, I was pleased to see Kevin Ryan and Tom Eaves win the race as Glass Slippers absolutely bolted up in the Abbaye. I was obviously disappointed that Enable couldn’t make history and win her third Arc but she ran very well and was a gallant second but Waldegeist was just too good on the day.
In the other races I was really impressed with Victor Ludorum who is another high class performer by Shamardal as he won the Lagardere under Mickael Barzalona for Godolphin.
The week ahead looks relatively quiet until Friday and Saturday which of course is a huge meeting as it’s Future Champions Day. I am not sure who I will be riding at the moment but I hope to have a good book of rides
