Royal Ascot 2019 review

A great week at Royal Ascot and a lot to look forward too.

It was a wonderful week at Royal Ascot and the racing didn’t disappoint. It was brilliant to see Blue Point go back to back with victories in the Kings Stand and the Diamond Jubilee. What a fantastic horse he is and now he's off to stud. It was great to get on the score sheet myself with Dashing Willoughby for Andrew Balding in the Queens Vase and he has a big future. The week ended fantastically with the final race of the day on Saturday going the way of King Power Racing and with all that has gone on it was great to see and fantastic Im thrilled for everyone connected. They had many horses hit the frame but to get a winner on the board will do them the world of good going forward.

Looking forward I'll be at Newmarket towards the end of the week, I’m not riding in the Irish Derby this Saturday but I’ll be at Windsor over the weekend. I just have to keep chipping away and pick up winners where I can and I am also looking forward to York’s Juddmonte Festival in a few weeks.
