Last few rides of 2019
Hi guys, currently flying from 🇶🇦 to 🇯🇵. 5 rides Saturday at Nakayama, last day Racing of 2019.
I ride Weltreisende in the G1 2yr old race over 2000m. He’s had 2 starts for 2 wins so please god he can extend his unbeaten record.
I galloped him about 10 days ago, he pleased me, this is a big step up in class though.
I ride a couple for my Japanese boss Mr Kunieda. The stable has celebrated lots of success this year headlined by the exceptional Almond Eye!
Looking back on last week, I rode 2 winners and unfortunately lots of 2nds! I’m thrilled for my friend Damian Lane, Mr Yahagi and all the connections of Lys Gracieux who was so dominant in running away with the Arima Kinen.
On a more personal level, this is my best year ever numerically. I hope and dream there’s much to look forward to in 2020.
I’m in a very fortunate position to ride for so many great people, I’ll do my utmost to continue to make them happy and improve as a rider.
I hope Santa was kind to everyone! I’d like to wish you guys a healthy and successful 2020.
