King George week!

I have another busy week ahead starting with Windsor tonight. I am really looking forward to riding the Japanese horse Cheval Grand on Saturday in the King George. Enable is obviously going to be very tough to beat as well as Crystal Ocean but I am delighted to get the opportunity to ride a Japan Cup winner. I am also looking forward to riding Final Song who I won on at Ascot and has ran well twice in defeat since.

I was delighted with my day on Friday last week at Newbury. Shadn’s Listed success in the Rose Bowl Stakes was very pleasing and she is another talented daughter of the exciting young sire No Nay Never. Encipher who won the opening race on the card on Friday also looks an exciting prospect for Godolphin and he is one to follow too.

I would also like to pass on my sincere condolences to both the connections and stable staff of Beat The Bank and Sea Of Class who lost their lives in the last week. They were both hugely talented horses and are a huge loss to the industry.
