Septembers a big month......
I was pleased to end August on a high with two winners at Chelmsford on Saturday night. It's been a great month, better than I could've expected. Kameko was frustrating, he just got a little bit outpaced and was babyish mid-race but he really hit the line and he's an exciting horse. Guildsman finishing second in the Group 3 Round Tower Stakes the day before was a similar sort of thing. He's a horse that I cant wait to step up to seven furlongs and hopefully we'll find something at possibly the Doncaster meeting for him.
I'd like to keep the pressure on, Septembers a big month. Lots of big races coming up. The Qpico Irish Champion Stakes at Leopardstown, The St Leger meeting at Doncaster so plenty to look forward to. Some nice maidens stepping out currently. It's exciting times and hopefully I can keep finding the right ones...
Really pleased with Run Wild’s third start at Kempton when she won by six lengths. She's a filly I really like and she's owned by David Redvers and some partners and I hope she's got a big future, she's very exciting. Her and Kameko are probably the highlight of the past week.
