2020 season is over!
Another turf season done and dusted and I was delighted to retain my Champion Jockey status.
In what turned out to be a shortened season due to the Coronavirus I was pleased to be able to secure 142 winners over the course of the Championship with the highlight being Kameko’s win in the Qipco 2000 Guineas at Newmarket for my boss Sheikh Fahad.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for all their support throughout the season as well as all the owners and trainers who have put me up on their horses. I would also like to congratulate William Buick, Tom Marquand, Hollie Doyle, Ben Curtis and Cieren Fallon on their fantastic seasons and for pushing me all the way this year.
I will be doing everything I can to retain the Flat Jockey’s Championship next season and hopefully we get a full schedule back.
Stay safe OM
